
Joe
Abatemarco
Joe joined St.
Catherine's in September 2003. Prior to that, he spent 25 years in
the field of software development for the telecommunications
industry. His experience with budgets and financial matters as a
project manager helped him step right into his job at St.
Catherine’s.
Joe enjoys working closely with the members of the Finance Council
to make the finances of the parish as transparent as possible to the
parishioners. He is especially proud of the graphs and pie charts he
has incorporated into his reports.
Joe has been a Yankee fan for most of his life, going back to the
good old days of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. He and his wife
Mickie enjoy spending their free time with 'the kids’.
Carol
Ruspini
Carol joined the St.
Catherine of Siena parish staff in October 1993 as the Church
Secretary. Prior to joining St. Catherine’s, she ran her own home
office business.
Carol is active in many organizations, especially those dealing with
children. Currently, she is Secretary of the Kiwanis Club of Port
Chester/Rye Brook (past President and Vice President), is on the
Advisory Board of CAP (the Carver Center), is on the Advisory Board of
Holy Rosary Elementary School, and is Financial Secretary for the
St. Anne Sodality.
She is an active Eucharistic Minister in her parish and has served
five years on the Pastoral Council (two as president) at Our Lady of
the Rosary Church.
Carol is an avid reader and enjoys movies, especially the old black
and white ones. She is currently working on bringing about world
peace.

Terri
Marino
Terri was born and
raised in Stamford. After high school, she attended the Merrill
School of Business where she developed her skills and received a
Certificate in Business Administration.
In November 1999 Terri joined St. Catherine’s part-time as an assistant
to the Community Life Director. She was laid off in June 2001 when
the parish experienced in financial difficulties. She returned to
St. Catherine’s in September 2001 to work part-time in the Business
Office as the Census Manager. In September 2006 she became a
full-time employee.
Prior to joining St. Catherine’s, Terri worked as an Office Manager
for a consulting engineering firm and for a title insurance company.
These positions gave her an accumulated total of more than 20 years
experience in the business world.
What she loves to do most is spend time with her family and closest
friends. Terri’s other loves are shopping, gardening and listening
to her CDs. She has an extensive collection that ranges from Motown
to Mozart.

Emily
Docimo
Emily graduated from
Nazareth College of Rochester, in Rochester, New York, with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. She received a Master
of Music Degree in Voice from the Manhattan School of Music in New
York City.
She was a member of the John Brownlee Opera Theatre in New York. A
winner of numerous scholarships, awards and grants, one of which was
awarded from the Kirsten Flagstad Foundation, she has given concerts
and performed opera in New York, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, England,
Germany, Spain, and the Grand Bahaman Islands.
Emily has also studied and is certified in numerous healing
modalities. She is an accomplished Reiki Master, and is a Healing
Touch provider, primarily in the oncology ward, at the Greenwich
Hospital in Greenwich, Ct.

Marco
Castano
Marco Castano was born
in Columbia, South America and has lived in the United States since
1987. Marco received his American citizenship in August 1996.
Marco has more than 18 years of experience as a cook. He has worked
for Centro Restaurant in Darien and C’est Si Bon Restaurant in
Greenwich. Before joining St. Catherine’s in 1999, Marco was the
rectory cook at St. John’s in Darien.
During the day, Marco and his wife, Connie, run a house cleaning
business. Having achieved the American dream of owning his own home,
Marco now worries about paying his mortgage. In his “spare” time, he
enjoys working outside in his yard or puttering on the inside with
some home improvement project.

Claire DeLuca
Claire began working at
St. Catherine’s in November of 1991 as a Receptionist and soon
afterwards took on the task of Wedding Coordinator for the church.
Prior to working at St. Catherine’s, Claire worked at hospitals in
the Greenwich and Stamford area, for a law firm in Stamford and for
the Stamford YMCA.
Claire is an active member of her parish, St. John’s in Darien, where
she serves as a lector for the 8:30 am Mass on Sunday. She also
helps serve lunches to the parish’s senior community. She has also
worked as a shopper for the Jewish Shopping Service in Greenwich
since 1990.
Claire enjoys skiing, hiking, golf and theatre. At home she enjoys
working on her outdoor
garden.
